We don’t get much snow in Bury St Edmunds, but when we do everyone heads to the pit. The pit is by west Suffolk college and as far back as I can remember it’s the place to be seen when the white stuff settles.
This is past Monday enough snow had fallen and so the schools had decided it was time to let the children have a break from their computer screens and they were ordered to head outside and enjoy the snow.
I spent over 2 and half hours shooting at the pit capturing the fun, we’ve in Lockdown for so long and it was amazing to see families out having fun. Most days people are walking around miserable, but not today and I felt honoured to be there capturing these wonderful moments. This is what photography is all about, rare moments that would otherwise be lost to time.
I hope you enjoy the photos.
