Saturday 27th January a four storey building caught fire sending huge plumes of smoke of the city, so camera in hand I headed to the scene of the fire. By the time I had arrived the police had cordoned off the surrounding area. I was still able to get close enough to take some photos. There was 12 fire engines on scene and over 50 fire fighters when I arrived. I spent time walking around the different streets looking for the best places to get a good view of what was happening.
The building which was an abandoned warehouse was almost gone when I arrived and yet I was still able to capture some good photos which I wanted to share here. Overall I spent just under hour at the scene taking photos and I was happy with what I captured.
