Sunlight, not for me. However this past Sunday (12th June) I was doing my usual street walk up and down Brick Lane when I found myself facing something I wasn’t use to. There was nothing going on and I was feeling uninspired.
The sun was shining, I was tired and after spending the Saturday doing 2 different photography projects I was beaten. What did I do when faced with this problem?
I decided to change things up. I used the sunlight as a flashgun and I decided to use the camera’s back screen. I found a spot right in the middle of the road and parked my ass down. I started taking photos of everyone walking past. Usually, when I use my 56mm F1.2 lens I shoot wide open, but this time I put the lens at F8 and went for it.
The photos are a little different from what I would normally shoot. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
