This past Thursday I was kidnapped by 2 friends of mine and taken for a day of street shooting in Clacton-on-Sea. I haven’t been shooting in Clacton before and I was looking forward to seeing what I was going to capture, I had excitement as we was driving to the coast it was a hot day and I was sure there would be lots of people around enjoying the sun.
We parked at Holland-on-sea and walked along the coastline towards Clacton which was amazing, I think I enjoyed the walk more than Clacton, I was able to be mindful with my walking which helped me relax and get focused for when we arrived in the town.
I was shooting with both my GRII and my Sony, having 2 different focal lengths allowed me to get very different looking photos. I had amazing few hours shooting at the coast and I do miss being by the sea.
The walk back was amazing, I was walking in the incoming waves which really helped me be mindful.
